Semi Final 1: Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers Women won by 4 runs against Murshidabad Kueens Women

Batting first in a rain-curtailed match reduced to 18 overs per side, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers Women posted a competitive total of 114/6. Skipper Mita Paul led from the front, forging a crucial partnership with Ankita Mahanta. Mita played a fluent knock of 45 off 37 balls, while Ankita anchored the innings with 37 off 49 before retiring hurt.

However, the middle order failed to capitalize, with Parna Paul (8) run out and both Prativa Mandi (1) and Ritika Pal (4) falling cheaply. Jahanvi Raj Paswan was the pick of the bowlers for the Kueens, bagging an impressive 4/22 in 4 overs, well supported by Sushmita Ganguly who returned 1/16.

In response, Murshidabad Kueens Women started cautiously. Openers Trishita Sarkar made 49 off 51 and Sushmita Ganguly added more 14 off 17 and built a steady 49-run opening stand, keeping hopes alive. Middle-order contributions from Tanusree Sarkar (20 off 16) and captain Prativa Rana (17 off 15) kept the chase in balance, but the lower order faltered under pressure.

With Diya Nandi falling for a duck and limited support from Marjina Khatun (5*) and Jahanvi Raj Paswan (2*), the Kueens fell just short, finishing at 110/5 in 18 overs. Kolkata’s bowlers held their nerves, with Mita Paul delivering a tight spell of 1/19, while Priti Mahato (1/23 in 3 overs) and Monika Mal (1/23 in 4 overs) played key roles in containing the chase.

With this narrow 4-run victory, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers Women marched into the final, setting the stage for a blockbuster finish to the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League.

Semi Final 2: Sobisco Smashers Malda Women won by 5 runs against Harbour Diamonds Women

Batting first, Sobisco Smashers Women posted a competitive 115/6 in their 20 overs. The innings was anchored by a series of steady contributions. Aruna Barman scored 12 off 19 balls and built a valuable 32-run stand with Sukanya Parida, who chipped in with a brisk 27 off 23.

Srabani Pal (22 off 28) and Mamata Kisku (34 off 35) added crucial middle-order stability, while the rest of the lineup struggled to make an impact with captain Hrishita Niladri Basu (2) failing to fire.

The Harbour Diamonds’ bowling unit fought back well, with Rupal Tiwari picking up 2/21 in 4 overs, Priyanka Madhab Sarkar (2/22), and Bipasha Ghosh (1/12 in 2 overs) keeping the pressure on.

In reply, Harbour Diamonds began positively. Skipper Saika Ishaque scored a handy 21 off 21, followed by a solid 40-run partnership between Kashish Vinod Agarwal (33 off 31) and Ankita Barman (18 off 31) that kept the chase on track.

Dipa Das added quick runs with 17 off 11, but a dramatic middle and lower-order collapse saw the Diamonds lose momentum. Yogita Rawat (1), Priyanka Madhab Sarkar (1), Smriti Bar (0), Tanushree Adhikary (4), Bipasha Ghosh (0), and Ariktha Manna (1*) couldn’t withstand the pressure.
